Elsie Challenge #36-Scrapbook a Life Long love

This was an easy one for me since I have saved my Great-Grandmother's buttons since I was a young girl. I have wanted to do something special with them and this was my chance.

The journaling reads: My life long love is my Great-Grandmother's buttons. Over the years I have played with them and resorted them many a times. I wanted to do something special to represent her. I needed something to reflect my love for her and the unique woman she was. I remember that she sewed a lot and had the biggest most beautiful garden in her backyard. We spent a lot of time in her kitchen with my Grandma, my Mom and my Brother. What wonderful and special moments we had. I wish I could have had more time with her and gotten to know her better but I am thankful for what time I did get and the memories I do have. She will always hold a special place in my heart and will always be remembered & loved.

What a sweet, sweet idea using your grandmother's buttons like this. Now you have them forever all together to look at! Love it!

What an awesome way to preserve the buttons and to tell the story behind the buttons. Really great LO.
